Powerful new tool designed to enable public service providers to identify who is most vulnerable to climate impacts, why, where and what can be done. Includes mapping functionality to identify hotspots of climate disadvantage (initially flooding and heat-waves). This tool has been developed by Climate UK in a collaborative project commissioned by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation. It draws on extensive research for JRF by the University of Manchester into social vulnerability and climate change. Other partners include the Environment Agency, Creative Concern, Centre for Sustainable Energy and JBA Consulting.

The tool was launched publicly on 4th February 2015 at an event in Bristol hosted by Climate South West.
