Defra (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs)

Defra is the lead Government department for climate change adaptation and has been a long term supporter of Climate UK and the Climate Change Partnerships (CCPs). In 2011, Defra commissioned Climate UK to produce a series of information packs and case studies to help interpret the findings of the first UK Climate Change Risk Assessment at an English regional level.

You can download the nine regional information packs and case studies from the Resources section of this website. These were published simultaneously with the UK Climate Change Risk Assessment national documents in January 2012 to help people understand how the risks from the changing climate vary from one area of the country to another due to different geography, topography and local circumstances.
