Environment Agency

The Environment Agency is an Executive Non-departmental Public Body which has had a long association with the Climate Change Partnerships. The Environment Agency assumed responsibility for climate change adaptation in 2011 and since then has been one of  the primary supporters of Climate UK.  The Environment Agency and Climate UK have a national collaboration agreement which helps to maintain a series of active partner and stakeholder networks around the country. The Environment Agency and Climate UK regularly meet to manage delivery of this partnership work programme.

Climate UK is pleased to support the Environment Agency's Climate Ready service, providing extra outreach to the different sectors that are prioritised in the UK's first National Adaptation Programme that was published in 2013.
